FACTS WIN OUT OVER OPINIONS

Attempts to restrict polystyrene are indeed losing ground.

The French ban on non-recycled plastic packaging will most likely be postponed to 2030, while the plastic tax in Italy has been postponed (for the seventh time!) to 2026, and even in Australia the local ban has been scaled back because the alternatives fail to provide the standard of protection expected by the International Safe Transit Association.

Polystyrene continues to maintain its leading position in the packaging sector, thanks to its excellent cost-performance ratio, impact resistance, light weight and environmental sustainability.

Polystyrene, which has always been infinitely recyclable, is a product that is actually collected every day and put back into circulation!
Our confidence in the future is based on concrete data and tangible evidence, crucial elements to counteract the ‘emotional’ concerns that sometimes surround the use of plastic.
